On the morning of October 23, the 6th member representative Conference and the 6th Council meeting of China Building Materials Federation was held in Beijing. The meeting summarized the work of the fifth Council, elected a new council and the person in charge, and deployed the tasks of the sixth Council and the building materials industry. More than 460 representatives from key enterprises of building materials industry, universities and colleges, research institutes, provincial and municipal associations and professional associations attended the meeting. Xiao Zonghui, director of the Party Construction Bureau of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, delivered a speech; Sun Xiangyuan, Secretary-General of the fifth Council of China Building Materials Federation, made a work report entitled "Never forget the original intention and strive to build the industry association into an important organizational force to promote the development of the industry". The congress deliberated and adopted seven motions on amending the Constitution of China Building Materials Federation and establishing a Board of supervisors for the first time, and elected a new board of directors and a board of supervisors.
